We desperately need your help with an emergency our charity had to step into last night.

A foal was born as his mother died, and the owners could not afford to even get the help of a Vet.

The foal did not even have the opportunity to feed from his mum to get life saving colostrum, and his fate was very bleak.

Last night we transported him to Westvets for critical care.

Overnight he has received plasma transfusions, feeding tube, a drip inserted and antibiotics.

24/7 critical care in hospital for foals is extremely expensive and today we are asking you......our supporters to please help us to save this little colt's life.

We need to raise at least $8,000 to cover the huge cost of this sort of care.

We were faced with the awful situation that his mum died and he didn't even have the chance to drink from her to gain colostrum.

We couldn't leave him to suffer a slow death with no assistance given to him.

For one person, this cost is not a possibility, but with all of us donating even the smallest amount......we can give him a chance at life.

It takes a village.
